car park sharing made easy!

How it works

Short on time? we get it!
Check out our short explainer video or read below for more info.

Create a company profile.

Visit app.flexparking.co.nz/create-account from a web browser, and sign up to create a company admin account. This is where you’ll manage all of your car parks and invite users to join your private group. Note: You must create a company account online first, before users are able to login to the mobile app and start sharing parks.

Setup your car parks.

Once you’ve successfully created your online company admin account, it’s now time to setup all of your carparks. When setting up car parks, you can name each one to help for easy identification when parking. When creating a park, you can either allocate it to a certain team member for them to unbook when they’re away, or leave it empty to allow your team to book it day by day.

Start sharing the love and invite users.

Once all of your parks have been created, invite users via the ‘users’ tab. This will send an email to each user to download the mobile app and sign in (app available in both the Android and Apple app stores). It’s important you invite all of your team from your online account, and that they use the same email they were invited on so our system can match them to you and your parks.

Configure your fair use settings.

Sharing’s caring! Now you’ve setup your parks and users you can now configure your companies fair use settings. Here you can set a maximum limit of parks each user can book per week to allow a fair chance to everyone getting a park. You can also setup a priority list so each time a park is released by one of your team the next person in line will find out just that little bit quicker than others to provide a head start.

Let the fun begin!

Now you’ve setup your parks and your users are signed in to the mobile app, it’s time to start sharing! Users can book and unbook parks simply from the mobile app. You can also login to your company admin account from a web browser to manage all parks. When parks are unbooked by either a user or admin, a mobile notification will be sent to all users with out a park to let them know a park is available.

The lucky day!

Using the mobile app, users can easily see on what days they have what parks booked. If they’re going to be away or sick, they can quickly unbook the park from their mobile app. Best of all, you can name/number all of your parks so users know exactly what park they have that day.

Time to soar!

Now you’re set up and really humming along, you can go online and use your Flex parking admin account to get insights and reports. These let you know exactly what parks were used and by who, to ensure you’re achieving the best bang for buck from each park.

So now you’re ready
